Fury

He wanted the rains
Little did he know that she was the storm
He wanted gentleness
She was passion, in all her naked glory

All he wanted was a light drizzle
But what he got was fury
Like the bolt of lightning that lit across the sky
Like thunder, the kind that deafened your ear drums

What he didn't know was that
She was not meant to be tamed
That nothing stood in her way
That she burned to ashes all that she set her eyes on
Her name was destruction
She was fury...
