Y - Yesterday

I have learnt from yesterday
Just like the challenges undertaken today
I have hope, faith and belief
That we are going to emerge winners tomorrow

April has been a memorable month gone by us
One that I stepped into with uncertainties a lot
There have been friends who had my back
And some new made along the path

Today I'm a little sad
The journey comes to an end tomorrow
It doesn't have to be so
We shall continue to walk hand in hand

So many lessons learned
Writing has been grueling on some days
We never gave up, continued at our own stride
And tomorrow we shall hold victory in our hands...

P.S. Am I the only one feeling this way? The challenge shall surely come to an end tomorrow but our journey doesn't have to.

  1. I am also kind of feeling a bit lost - purposeless :P Though it had been hectic, I loved every moment. And as you mention, made a lot of new friends along the way. :D I am sure we will be in touch... social media zindabad!

  3. It was so dramatic and creative this time. I managed to write three short stories in parts and many flash fictions. So did you and many others. It has been an enchanting ride this time. :)

  4. I agree with you totally! Let us see the ending as a new beginning, as a chance to prove that the bonds made were not just for April but forever :) It has been a crazy journey, but it is these things that we will remember fondly!

  5. I wish I has started this challenge but given that I just got back to blogging it would have been difficult. May be next year. I loved reading these posts and have discovered many new and fantastic blogs.

  9. A roller coaster of a ride of a mix of emotions as I have been SO busy this month and literally wrote these the same day in some cases or the night prior and posted in the morning before I started work! ;) <3

  10. Frankly, I'm relieved that this challenge is ending simply because it takes the pressure off. I love writing but like everything in my life I always baulk at compulsion and I am glad to write because I want to write not because I have to write.

I loved meeting new people on the challenge though and look forward to sharing many such wonderful ideas with other bloggers. BTW, I love the images that always accompany your posts. How do you find them?

    1. It has been exhausting, I agree. And I'm glad it's finally over. Which is why I took a break from blogging.

The images are always done through google search :) I spend more time than required most of the time while searching for images ;)
