A broken plea

It won't hurt he said
But it hurts so much, Mommy
Why don't you listen to me.

He gave me chocolates
And teddy bears
But he hurts me after,

I'm afraid of sleeping alone
Won't you hug me tonight?
I need you by my side, Mommy
To hold me safe and tight.

I'm scared and hurt
Why do you look the other way
When Daddy keeps hurting me
Night by night.

    1. The number of children being abused are increasing day by day :( Such people must be punished with a slow and painful death.

  5. this is such a haunting poem. CSA is the ugliest crime one can commit esp to his own child...shame on such people.

    1. Such crimes are on the rise. It's heart breaking to read the real ones. People are turning into monsters.

    2. Have you read that book 'Bitter Chocolate' by Pinki Virani? It is about CSA. If you have not, I strongly suggest that you read it.
