The roses were in full bloom
The red like spilled blood
Spreading their tentacles
Along the old brick wall
The roses would bloom
Every year just before Winter
Reminiscing its old life
Before she went away
The scarlet roses
Were her favorite
Though they reminded her
Of a love gone wrong
The roses would bloom
As though missing her presence
Watching her as she slept
Along the old cemetery wall
that was so touching...lovely words weaving a sad story..
