A thousand doubts crept up her mind. What if this doesn't work out; or what if he wasn't the One? As she walked alone though the woods with just her thoughts for company, somewhere along the way, she made up her mind.
To conquer her fears, she would have to face them.
The woman that came out of the woods did not have a cluttered mind, true, she still had a lot of fights to battle, but her heart was fearless.

DeleteA wonderful 55er. You have done it wonderfully. As this UBC is coming to an end, I must say that I met you, as a nice friend. Keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ma'am! Though it's not a 55 fiction, just a five sentence fiction.
DeleteYes, Thanks to UBC, I have enjoyed reading a wide variety of poems and fiction from you :) And I'm sure we shall be frequenting each other even though UBC must come to an end.
Very nice... I wish all women to be like her :) Sorry not been as regular, keeping up with the UBC posts has not been easy :P
ReplyDeleteThank you, Seeta :) Yeah, I know what you are talking about. With a lot of bloggers taking part in UBC, it would be difficult to read all of it!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jane :) Welcome to my blog!
DeletePretty inspiring! And just the thought that you penned this inspirational piece taking a mere cue “fearless” is making me drop my jaw :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes our inner self actually does a lot of harm by creating unnecessary doubts and fears and that’s when we all need lots of positivity and our “ME” time to emerge out stronger than before.
Get ready to face your fears and you have already won half of the battle!
P.S: Ink may fail to stain the paper but a kind soul never seizes to bleed and a thoughtful mind never seizes to express!
Sometimes, keeping your doubts and fears away does really help :)
You have always been kind with your words, Stranger. I'm humbled.
DeleteYour comments say much more than my entire post. And sometimes, I have to read it over and again to reply. Thank you for reading and going into such depths to comprehend what I've written. You should start a blog. You have it in you to create that magic :)
I am glad she found the answer. Fearless she was!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad too! Thank you, Red :)
